Former MTCS standout might make Phillies

Jim Ed Warden has a chance to fill one of the Philadelphia Phillies' two remaining bullpen spots.

Warden, a Middle Tennessee Christian School graduate, was with Cleveland last season. He had a 2.90 ERA with Class AA Akron. He's allowed four earned runs this spring. A Rule 5 Draft pick, if he doesn't make the Phillies he must return to Cleveland.
