Elizabeth Gertrude Jennings, age 70, of Murfreesboro, passed away on July 10, 2009 at her residence. She was a native and life long resident of Rutherford County and a former employee of White Stag and homemaker. She was a member of Jehovah Witness Church.
Mrs. Jennings is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Birdie May Gortney Taylor; her husband, Robert Jennings; two daughters, Linda Brewer and Virginia Brewer; and one sister, Freddie Dover. She is survived by four sons, Riley (Sharon) Brewer, Jr., Mark (Lisa) Brewer, Danny (Sharon) Brewer, Mitchell (Michelle) Brewer and; two daughters, Clara (Bill) Trice and Vickie (Troy) Wix; two brothers, Jerry Taylor of Bradyville and J.W. Taylor of Woodbury; one sister, Ruby Johnson of Bradyville; seventeen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Chapel services will at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Webb Schrader officiating. Burial will follow at Bradley Creek Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
