Forever 21 to open at Stones River Mall Aug. 29

With the opening celebration just weeks away, The Shops at Stones River announces that Forever 21, one of the country’s hottest fashion retailers, is opening early on Friday, Aug. 29.

The retailer, a favorite among trend-savvy shoppers of all ages, will be opening in the new outdoor expansion area of Stones River Mall at 10 a.m.

Forever 21 is a nationally sought-after fashion retailer and features runway-inspired designs at excellent values. The store will encompass more than 15,000 square feet and feature an airy, shopper-friendly interior filled with style-conscious, current clothing and accessories for young women.

The opening of Forever 21 will launch The Shops at Stones River, which is part of the $52-million renovation project of Stones River Mall which includes a revitalization of the interior of the mall and the addition of the 84,000 square-foot outdoor shopping plaza with dining venues and national retailers.

Stones River Mall plans to celebrate the opening of The Shops at Stones River with a weekend of activities, giveaways, store openings, concerts and more on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14. For a complete listing of events for the opening weekend, visit www.stonesrivermall.com.

Along with Forever 21, The Shops at Stones River welcomes a number of new retailers, including a 146,000-square foot, two-level Dillard’s that will serve as the anchor for the outdoor center. Other stores that will be open for the weekend celebration include: C.J. Bank’s, a division of Christopher & Banks designed for women who wear plus sizes 14W and up and Bink’s Outfitters, an outdoor equipment and clothing store, featuring a wide variety of popular makers. Coming soon to The Shops at Stones River are The Gap, babyGap and GapKids Kid's, America’s favorite lifestyle stores for all ages, and A’Gaci, with trendy, affordable clothing for the sexy and glamorous woman.

I assume Forever 21 has nothing to do with 21 UP, the adult entertainment store still open on NW Broad?
