The newly remodeled Sam’s Club at 125 John R. Rice Blvd. will host a grand reopening celebration Friday, April 11 at 10 a.m. The celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce and will honor three Charter associates that have served the community since the opening of the doors 20 years ago.
The project represents a reinvestment in the club, its members and the community, providing them with incredible savings on quality merchandise in an exceptional shopping environment. Since opening its doors in March 1994 the Murfreesboro Sam’s Club has been supplying its members with a wide variety of fresh produce, quality meats, office supplies, apparel and more.
The remodel affords Sam’s Club an opportunity to offer new products in the meat and produce department and provide families an expanded baby care selection. The additions to the club highlight the connection to the community and reinforce the commitment Sam’s Club has to listen to the needs of their members and provide accordingly.
The club will now utilize convertible registers to ensure a speedy checkout for members as well as a new Freeosk, an innovative, consistent sampling experience that is fun, fast and free. Sam’s Club is the first U.S. retailer to bring a unique automated sampling machine to the consumer.
“We are honored to celebrate the completion of our remodel,” said club manager Josh Armiger. “With great support from our community and Charter associates we look forward to the next 20 years in Murfreesboro.”
To continue this commitment of giving, the celebration will include a $1,500 grant presentation to Special Kids, Angels for Protectors, Center for the Arts and the Murfreesboro Police Department.
