Linebaugh Library announced the formation of a new group dedicated to reading and discussing “cozy” mysteries.
If you are not familiar with this genre, most cozy mysteries take place in a small, picturesque town or village, with normal, every day characters you might have known at one time in your life. A cozy will usually avoid gory details or explicit “adult situations.”
The heroes of such stories are usually amateur detectives who often have a college degree and use their life experiences as a tool for solving crimes.
Linebaugh staff member, Angela McLaughlin, will begin as facilitator of this group. The group will hold its first meeting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14 in the second floor boardroom. This group is free and open to the public. No prior reservations are necessary.
Linebaugh Public Library is located at 105 W. Vine St. in Murfreesboro. The Library is the cornerstone of our community, enriching lives through free resources for learning, fun, and opportunity. For more information, call 615-893-4131 or visit www.linebaugh.org. |
