National Weather Service declares tornado

A National Weather Service storm survey team confirmed EF-0 tornado damage about two miles south of Eagleville along Foyd Road in southwest Rutherford County from Sunday's storms.
The survey came after reports of a funnel cloud were made to local law enforcement, an abandoned house sustained roof damage and tree damage was reported.
The National Weather Service also released data that shows Murfreesboro received 3.73 inches of rain between Friday and Sunday.
EARLIER: The strong storms that pushed through Middle Tennessee Sunday may have brought a tornado along for the ride.
A National Weather Service storm survey team will travel to Southern Rutherford county by midday Monday to survey possible tornado damage near the Eagleville area.
Nashville saw record rainfall Sunday, catching 1.76 inches. Murfreesboro saw an official 0.55 inches with localized amounts up to 1.8 inches.
Middle Tennessee isn't quite out of the woods yet as far as this weather system is concerned.
Minor river flooding will continue across the midstate through tonight.
