NASHVILLE – The Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) will hold five public hearings in August and September on proposed service improvements.
Potential improvements include a new express route in the Franklin/Brentwood and Thompson Station areas; the addition of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service along Gallatin Road; schedule adjustments to Route 26 Gallatin Road; and additional trips on Route 96X Nashville/Murfreesboro Relax & Ride.
Listed below are the times and locations for the public hearings and the bus routes that serve these locations:
- Music City Central: Monday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room, 400 Charlotte Ave. (All bus routes)
- Music City Central: Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room (All bus routes)
- Williamson County Administrative Complex: Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 5:30 p.m., 1320 West Main Street, Franklin
- Madison Branch Library: Thursday, Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m., 610 Gallatin Pike (Route 26 Gallatin Road)
