What does your company produce? We provide installation and service of heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial customers. We also have a sheet metal fabrication shop and provide indoor air quality analysis and solutions.
 
What is your basic business philosophy? Always take care of the customer and provide the best quality and value you can give the customer.
 
Give us a sales pitch in 25 words or less: We have provided Rutherford and surrounding counties with the highest quality products and service since 1940.
 
What is your proudest business achievement? Being involved in the business my grandfather started that has been in business for 69 years.
 
What led you to Murfreesboro? I have lived here all of my life.
 
What is your educational background? I graduated from Oakland High School in 1984 and attended MTSU.
 
What do you do for fun? My family and I spend a lot of time at our house on Tims Ford Lake. I like to fish and hunt.
 
Tell us about your family: My wife, Beth, and I will have been married for 20 years in June. We have two children: Courtney, 13, and Will, 10, who both attend Middle Tennessee Christian School.
 
Who was your mentor? My dad, Gary Brown.
 
What is the most important thing going on now at your operation? We are like everyone else; we are working through a tough economy. Our industry is going through a transition phase from R22 freon, that the manufacturers can not use after this year, to R410a that is more environmentally friendly.
