What is your basic business philosophy? Do business the right way!

Give us a sales pitch in 25 words or less: With great rates and local processing, underwriting and closing, we close loans fast! And, I am always available for my customers! My cell phone is on 24/7!

What is your proudest business achievement? Even after moving to Murfreesboro almost five years ago, I still have realtors that refer loans to me from Jackson, Miss.

What led you to Murfreesboro? I moved to the Nashville area to open the mortgage division of the bank that I worked for in Mississippi. Once in Nashville, we settled on Murfreesboro as it reminded us of home!

What is your educational background? Associate’s degree from Holmes Community College, bachelor’s degree from Belhaven College and a Certificate in Banking from Ole Miss School of Banking

Where are you originally from? Waynesboro, Miss.

What do you do for fun? I love to read. And since my house is full of boys, we also watch a lot of sports and we love to go fishing.

Tell us about your family: I have two boys. One that is 14 and one that is 6. Yes, one in high school and one in kindergarten. Same husband, same marriage, just almost a decade in between the kids. And the world’s greatest husband, whom I’ve been married to for almost 16 years.

Who was your mentor? My previous manager, Don Baskin, is the most amazing person I have ever met.

What is the most important thing going on now at your operation? We are opening as F&M Mortgage. We are excited about the transition and the excitement of opening a new division for such a great and well-respected company.
