The Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department is again offering its Buy One-Get One Free program that has been so successful in previous years.

Purchase an individual yearly or monthly membership at either SportsCom, located 521 Mercury Blvd., or Patterson Community Center at 2310 Memorial Blvd. and get one free. Passes are good at both locations.

When purchasing a monthly or yearly pass, it must be a monthly or yearly pass of equal or lesser value.

Discounts also apply for residents age 60 and older, in addition to children age 17 and younger.

The special offer ends at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31.

“The Buy One-Get One Free special has been important in helping us keep our current customers, as well as bringing in new customers each year,” said Lanny Goodwin, director of the Parks and Recreation Department.

For prices and more information on this offer, visit one of the centers, the city’s website at, or call the Parks and Recreation Department at 615-890-5333.
