Murfreesboro Little Theatre is wrapping up its 50th anniversary season with “Anniversary Waltz.”

Running through Sunday, July 28, the play reads like an early 1950s sitcom gone awry with an energetic and dedicated cast that features Ted Verbeten and Lora Hortert as the “happily married couple” celebrating 15 year of wedded bliss; along with “ditzy socialite” Kelly Northcutt; the “boisterous playboy” Robert Wilson; “all-American teenager” Duel Lane; “too smart for her own good” Grace Hayes; “the eaves-dropping help” Lourdes Luster; those “friendly and wise cracking delivery guys” Wade Flannery, Robert McAdams, and Stephen Luster; and Cyndie Verbeten and David Cummings as “the in-laws.”

“Anniversary Waltz” concludes MLT’s anniversary season with shows at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. Tickets can be ordered at mltarts.com.
