MTSU’s summer commencement ceremony will be available via Web cast for those people unable to attend in person and who have access to the Internet.
MTSU will graduate more than 900 students at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at the Murphy Center. Alfred Lutz, professor for the English Department and the current MTSU representative of the Tennessee Board of Regents’ (TBR) Faculty Subcouncil will give the commencement address.
Those unable to attend can watch a Web cast of the ceremony by following these steps:
1. Go to the university home page: www.mtsu.edu 2. Under the A to Z index along the top, click on Graduation. 3. Click on “Streaming Video of Commencement” (next to last bullet below) Windows Media Player is needed or read the directions provided to access the Webcast. Please note that on the day of commencement, the link will not be active until approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. |
