It was a pretty good season overall for the Blue Raiders in their first year of Conference USA play. I think an 8-4 season is something to be proud of and something that can be built upon. I think it's great that MTSU was chosen to participate in the Armed Forces Bowl and it's even better that they will be going up against Navy in that bowl. It should be a great game with two very different offenses. I think it'll be a pretty high-scoring game. Navy always seems to have the best team out of all of the service academies. Another great part about the bowl is that they'll be playing at UTEP so the weather will more than likely be fairly warm, or at least warmer than it was there this past weekend with all of the snow and ice. I think the MTSU football program is continuing to grow and that can only be good news for the university as a whole. Hopefully the Blue Raiders can send their seniors out on a high note and finish the season with nine wins. Overall it's been a great season for the Blue Raiders and this is a fun way to close it out!
