MTSU offers classes for competitive swimmers

MTSU’s Campus Recreation is offering two camps for young swimmers who are interested in developing their skills beyond recreational swimming.
 
‘Go’ Swim is a competitive skills program for youth and teens age 10-17. This week-long camp emphasizes stroke techniques, swim drills and dry-land conditioning. This camp will meet 3:30-5 p.m., Monday through Friday in the Campus Rec pool and costs only $12. Camps will be held the weeks of July 11-15 (deadline to register: Friday, July 8) and July 18-22 (deadline to register: Friday, July 15).
 
‘Go’ Diving prepares beginners age 8-16  for the excitement of diving. This American Red Cross diving skills camp can lead to advanced diving used in Middle or High School competition. This two-week session begins July 11 and goes through July 11 with a deadline of July 8 at noon to register. It will be held from 2-3 p.m. in the Campus Rec pool, and the cost is $30.
 
For more information, call our office at 898-2104. To register, come by our office 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Campus Recreation is located at 1848 Blue Raider Drive.
