Heart Care continues to be a top focus for Middle Tennessee Medical Center (MTMC) as it opens a new location of the Heart Failure Center which is designed to provide a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose, support and manage people throughout the community with early or advanced heart failure. 

The center uses evidenced based therapies, educations and research to promote optimal patient outcomes.
 
The Heart Failure Center is located in Murfreesboro Medical Clinic at 1272 Garrison Drive Suite 308, in Murfreesboro.

The cardiologist will monitor, observe and administer a heart failure plan of care to meet the physical and educational needs of patients.  The patients will have access to a registered dietician and the MTMC Wellness Center.
 
Dr. Peter Robertson, electrophysiologist with Saint Thomas Heart at MTMC, and Amy Sadler, nurse practitioner, will provide supervision of the medical plan of care and coordination with the patient’s primary care physician.
