The Associate Recognition and Celebration Committee (ARCC) at MTMC announces MTMC security officer Johnny Cobb as the 2009 HEART of the Year. Cobb was chosen by a committee of his peers for his continuous display of HEART which is recognized through helpfulness, empathy, a compassionate attitude, respect and teamwork.
“Johnny is the most compassionate, caring individual that I not only work with, but that I know,” said John Davis, MTMC security director. “He always makes decisions that come from his heart.”
Cobb is known for always smiling, greeting everyone he sees and always being helpful and kind-hearted. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Murfreesboro with their 19-month-old son, Yeshiyah.
“MTMC gives me the opportunity to show compassion and work in a great environment,” said Cobb. “My gift is to help patients and serve those in need.”
The ARCC is comprised of 20 MTMC associates who represent various departments. The committee is sponsored by the Guest Relations department which works to ensure a positive patient experience which comes, in part, through associate satisfaction.
