The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team has announced it will hold a 90-minute clinic Saturday morning in an effort to raise money for victims of the recent earthquakes in Haiti. The event is being co-sponsored by the Murfreesboro Tennis Association.
All members of the Blue Raider squad will be in attendance, and they will conduct drills, play some games and compete in some points. The event will be held at the Old Fort Tennis Center from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of a cost for the clinic, the team is asking for donations to the American Red Cross, specifically to the Haitian earthquake victims. Checks can be made out to American Red Cross with International Response Fund-Haiti in the memo line.
