Long Hunter State Park is pleased to welcome Ms. Liana and her Nature Circle Friends back for their second year of educational and fun programs.
The programs are sponsored by ESC Lab Sciences of Mt. Juliet and The Friends of Long Hunter and are designed for preschoolers. Thirty seven preschoolers and their Care Givers attended the first program of this series on Monday, Aug. 3. The programs include a Story Time each week, a take home craft and hands on activities.
The programs are held each Monday at 10 a.m. at the Park Office AV Room located off of Hobson Pike between Mt. Juliet and Antioch. The programs for the remainder of August include "Totally Turtles", "Otter Play", "Let's Go Rock Collecting", and "A Log's Life".
Liana Dranes has developed quite a Fan Club and claims to have as much fun as the children. To contact Ms. Liana and sign up for the free programs, go to: thenaturecircle@hotmail.com or phone the Long Hunter State Park Office at 615-885-2422. |
