Murfreesboro police arrested two suspects and confiscated two kilograms cocaine in a drug bust Saturday, Dec. 4.

After a Vice Unit investigation of several months, a “buy bust operation” was organized, during which two kilos of cocaine were allegedly purchased from Miguel Angel Vasquez and Cesar Ponce. Both subjects allegedly were involved in the sale of the cocaine and were the subjects of the investigation.

Lead investigator Detective John Jones, along with MPD Detective Merrill Beene, TBI Agent Dennis Mabry and the assistance of other members of the MPD Vice Unit, arrested the two suspects for the sale and criminal conspiracy to sell cocaine. Beene and Mabry are assigned to the DEA Task Force.

Two kilos of cocaine, valued at approximately $65,000, and the vehicle used to transport the drugs to the sale were seized by investigators.

Kudos to the cops for a job well done. The dope gets flushed and there are two fewer dirtbags on the streets.

These 2 should never have been in the country. When will liberals take action instead of promoting crime by lack of action. Progressive liberals are useless in defending America.
