This man was caught by video surveillance after he allegedly robbed the Express Market on Southeast Broad Street. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 893-STOP (7867).
An unidentified man made off with approximately $2,000 in cash Sunday night from the Express Market on Southeast Broad Street.

Murfreesboro Police responded to Majed Abunameh’s call for help at about 5:15 Sunday the evening after a white man in a yellow “Gap” hooded sweatshirt robbed the convenience store.

The suspect allegedly came into the store, picked up a can of soda and packet of gum, and approached the counter.

“Once the cash drawer was open, the subject reached over the counter and took a stack of $20 bills from the register and ran out,” MPD Officer Christopher Pitts reported.

The subject jumped into a green Jeep Cherokee with a temporary tag in the window and speed off on Maney Avenue.
