You will likely receive the first real ticket that is sent out for collection. I only wish we had more cameras at more intersections to stop the violators. My life is in danger from the folks who laugh at the matter.

Hail big brother! May lightning strike them all. Now I'll get a ticket tomorrow for my shrewd comments. Before you know it they'll be on the streets downtown and at the Avenues and all the other fine strip malls in this fair city. Won't that be wonderful.

You and lightchick are completely ignorant as to the real purpose of these cameras. Have you not heard that the city is choking on their own debt?
Are you seriously thinking that these will cut down on the number of accidents?
Just look around the net and see if you can find some REAL accident reduction statistics related to these cameras.

I for one have noticed a lot more drivers NOT racing to get through the light like they used to, but actually slowing down ahead of time in case the light does turn yellow so they can stop. And I have to say most of these instances are not at any of the intersections with cameras, so don't tell me this is not having some type of positive effect on Murfreesboro drivers.
And don't give me that mess about being hit from behind because of it. You're supposed to drive defensively, keeping a sufficient length of space between you and the driver in front of you in order to give you time to react should you need to, not texting someone, talking on the phone, reading the paper or working on a laptop!!
