From the National Weather Service in Nashville:
A mixed bag of winter weather is expected this afternoon into the overnight hours for areas around Nashville south and east.
Overall the chance of snow for Rutherford County is 30 percent with accumulation expected to be around one-half inch this afternoon.
Over night the mid-state will see a 100 percent chance of precipitation with rain turning over to snow after midnight.
Look for mainly light snow and sleet accumulations maybe an inch or so near Nashville before warming changes the precipitation to rain.
Light snow will continue across the region Tuesday with minor accumulations possible. |
