Wow, its a technicolor holiday explosion on Norris Lane, just off of Rutherford Boulevard.
You can see the brite display from the Kroger parking lot at Lascassas Pike and Rutherford, but it can best be seen by turning right on Norris Lane off North Rutherford Boulevard just before you pass the shopping center. (It is best is you are headed North on Rutherford.)
This house features a computer-controlled light show with rainbow-like arcs of light painting a jaunty display in the cold December air.
Photos don't do the display justice...but they give a general idea.

Even the family of snow men on the porch are controlled by the computer and music. When we visited, the music was provided by Gene Autry singing the classic, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."
Nearby in Garrison Cove subdivision are several beautifully decorated homes.
Perhaps the most distinctive is at the corner of Nightwalk Court and Garrison Cove. A huge, bright red Christmas tree stretches from the top of the house to the middle of the lawn.

Not all of the beautiful lights are located in the Boro's suburbs. One of the most spectacular (and traditional) is located just off East Main Street on Highland Avenue.
Covered with multitude of colorful lights, this home even features lights suspended mid-air for a dreamy holiday look.

You have to drive a bit out into the "country" for Murfreesboro's largest holiday display.
Located on Barfield-Crescent Road, this display covers several acres with brite displays, flashing lights and music.
It's a Murfreesboro Post favorite from past years.

Lights cover the property including a riverboat followed by a sea monster....

The display even features a festive gate....
