Mom indicted for allowing 13-year-old to drive

One intoxicated mother accused of allowing her 13-year-old daughter to drive was indicted by the grand jury during its September term.

Mother Molly D. Peco, 35, of 220 Indian Hills Drive was indicted for reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle after allowing her daughter to drive her and three other passengers May 28 on South Church Street.

In an unrelated case, Juan Ramos was indicted on two counts of child rape and two counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Smyrna Police Detective James Scott accused Ramos of having sexual relations with the girl in his care while her mother worked.

Another set of indictments charged Justin Lafayette White, 20, of South Windrow Road in Rockvale with two counts of vehicular assault, seven counts of aggravated reckless assault and one count of reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle.

Murfreesboro Police reported White admitted “huffing” substances before striking a Rutherford County School bus in a crash March 7 on Rutherford Boulevard near Greenland Drive.

In another case, husband Charles W. Kirby, 25, of La Vergne, was charged with bigamy.

La Vergne Detective Lt. Stace Thompson reported Kirby married another woman while still married.

The defendants will receive copies of their indictments Monday from Circuit Court Judge David Bragg on the fourth floor of the Judicial Building. Grand jurors returned indictments in 118 cases.

Other defendants indicted include:

Michael Argo, theft, aggravated burglary, resisting arrest.

Griffin T. Barry, maintaining dwelling for the sale of drugs, possession of Schedule IV drugs for resale.

Wesley Todd Bingham, DUI (fourth offense).

Timothy J. Bradley, aggravated burglary, theft (five counts), contraband in penal institution, burglary of motor vehicle (four counts).

Robert A. Burge, unlawful use of 911.

Broderick Churchwell, conspiracy to possession Schedule II drugs, sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school zone.

Lance I. Collier, DUI, evading arrest with auto.

Ronald D. Cunningham Jr., DUI (second offense).

Brittany E. Duncan, maintaining dwelling for the sale of drugs, possession of Schedule IV drugs for resale.

Billy Ray Fielding, aggravated burglary, theft.

Jeremy Lynn Foster, felonious possession of marijuana, resisting arrest.

William Dewayne Hall, evading arrest with auto, conspiracy to possess Schedule II drug, sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school zone.

Wellons B. Harrelson, DUI (second offense), carrying a weapon with intent to go armed, possession of a prohibited weapon.

Jason Gregory Harrison, DUI, vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an injury crash.

Jay Harrison, DUI.

Michael S. Harrison, DUI.

Brandi F. Hendricks, criminal simulation, auto theft.

Stacey Henslee, DUI (fifth offense).

Nathan Hooten, aggravated assault.

Hillis David Hudson, aggravated burglary.

Darrius Lamont Jennings, aggravated burglary, domestic assault, evading arrest.

Jeremie Kirkland, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of drugs.

Zakkery A. Kockanowski, sale of cocaine, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana for resale.

James Lynn Lovvorn, felonious possession of marijuana.

Freddie Keith Marshall, DUI.

Jimmy Moody, burglary of motor vehicle, theft (two counts), criminal simulation (three counts), auto theft (two counts).

Angel L. Morrow, sale of marijuana (three counts), felony possession of marijuana.

Alex Kwame Oduro, domestic assault.

Beverly A. Owens, forgery.

Tiffany D. Page, theft.

Deatric Lamont Sain, DUI (fourth offense), vehicular assault.

Robert Edward Schultz, burglary (two counts), theft (two counts).

Raphael Shinkle, burglary of motor vehicle (two counts), theft (two counts), attempted aggravated burglary, aggravated domestic assault, vandalism.

Juan Carlos Sierra, aggravated assault.

Kristy Ann Simpson, forgery (five counts).

Munsell Lamont Voorhies, sale of cocaine, felonious possession of cocaine, coercion of a witness, aggravated assault.
