Mobile command post on display at National Guard conference | National Guard, Embassy Suites, events
Military shelter manufacturer DHS Systems LLC will be displaying a small command post at the National Guard Association of Tennessee 81st Annual State Conference this weekend at the Embassy Suites Murfreesboro Hotel and Conference Center.

The 109-square-foot command post is part of the Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) line that has been used extensively by U.S. troops serving in the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Part of the U.S. Army’s Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS), DRASH is a mobile, quick erect/strike shelter system that integrates shelter, mobility, environmental control and power to form fully equipped infrastructures, such as command and control centers, medical facilities and life support areas.

DRASH Shelters are available in 45 models and range in size from 109 square feet to 1,250 square feet. All shelter models quickly interconnect to increase or decrease the structure’s overall footprint based on operational changes.

During the show, the command post will also be equipped with DRASH Deployable Command and Control Equipment (DC2E). DRASH DC2E joins various feeds of information onto single or multiple screens, allowing users to view images from across the battlefield. Since its introduction in 2005, more than 3,000 DRASH DC2E systems have been deployed throughout the world.

With more than 17,000 shelters and 7,500 trailers in service today, DRASH shelters and support equipment have been used by all branches of the U.S. Military and NATO forces stationed around the globe.

DRASH will be on display at booth 25 during the conference.

DRASH DC2E is available for purchase on gsaadvantage.gov by searching code GS-03F-0181V. DRASH Trailer Mounted Support Systems (TMSS) are available through the Army’s SICPS Program, or can be purchased as a shelter and trailer combination through DHS Systems. ZLIN numbers and NSNs are available.
