Well, as a Gopher fan, I am somewhat surprised that you write a dishonest take on a loss of your MTSU squad. First, in order for the ref's to steal the game, it would take more than one or two calls. And, the calls you refer to are a result of NCAA rule changes that apply to this year. So, do your homework a little better. Second, any team that rolls up, unimaginatively, all those successful drives eating up time of possession, as advertised, is not one dimensional. It is power football. We sent out the invitation to stop us, and your team didn't. End of story. Your crowing about how great you are in defeat is not worthy of your respect. Your team should be proud of how it conducted itself on the field. Your journalism, on the other hand, seems clumsy. The Gopher coachs made no secret of the fact we were going to run the ball on you all day long. They did. We were gracious enough not to attempt to score in the last minute. I thought it was a sporting thing to do since your team is obviously a rising program.
