Michael Wayne Jones, age 51, of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at Middle TN Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Wayne Jones and Barbara Jean Smithson Jones. He is survived by his sisters, Vickie Goolsby of Murfreesboro, Valerie Wilson of Shelbyville, Vanessa Phelps of Monroe, Ga.; brother, Mark Jones of Springfield, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Friday, June 8, 2012 at 10:00 am at Whitworth Cemetery with Chaplain Marshall Gupton officiating. Burial to follow.
