Meth lab found near West Main Street Greenway

Today at approximately 10:25 A.M. several items were found used to manufacture methamphetamine near the West Main Street Greenway.

Murfreesboro Fire Engine 15 personnel contacted Greenway Police Officer Mike Daingerfield and he in turn contacted Officer Mick Rea, one of our “Meth” officers on duty.

Officer Rea responded to assist Officer Daingerfield and the items were rendered safe and were properly disposed of by the Tennessee Meth Task Force Hazmat Truck.

No suspects have been identified or arrested and this case remains under investigation.

Rutherford County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s). Crime Stoppers operates Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. and may be contacted at 893-STOP (7867
