Medie Nell Hight Spain, age 96, of Lebanon, passed away on November 26, 2012 at University Medical Center.

She was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Lascassas Baptist Church. Medie was retired from NHC as a dietitian.

Medie was preceded in death by her parents; Alonzo and Novie Weatherly Hight; and husband, William Bradford Spain. She is survived by her son, Henry Mason (Nellie) Spain of Murfreesboro.

Graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 1:00pm with David Turner officiating. Burial will follow with family serving as active pallbearers.
