Teachers get to show their game at the inaugural Murfreesboro City Schools Faculty Basketball Game.
Murfreesboro Mayor Tommy Bragg and State Sen. Jim Tracy (R-Murfreesboro) will coach the game, which starts at 7 p.m. tonight at Cason Lane Academy.
Each school will be represented by two teachers and principals will act as cheerleaders.
Halftime activities and door prizes include:
- Autographed New York Giants photographs,
- Blue Raider basketball tickets to women’s and men’s games, and
- Cash prizes.
Admission is two cans of food per adult and one can per child with donations going to the Murfreesboro Schools Family Resource Center.
