| McGannon named to Board of Professional Responsibility |

Murfreesboro City Attorney Susan E. McGannon was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to the Board of Professional Responsibility, the Court-designated body that supervises the ethical conduct of attorneys.
The court also appointed and Eleanor Yoakum and reappointed William C. Bovender for a second term. McGannon has served as city attorney of Murfreesboro since 2001. She has also been a member of the Hearing Committee for the Board of Professional Responsibility since 2005 and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Municipal Lawyers Association.
The board members have been appointed to three-year terms, which will expire on December 31, 2012. The Board of Professional Responsibility is comprised of nine lawyer members, and three non-lawyer members who offer an enhanced and balanced perspective of the professional responsibilities of the legal profession.
