MCCAA offers help on energy bills

Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency will begin accepting applications for the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) on July 1. Qualified applicants may be eligible to receive a one-time award on their home energy bill.

Interested applicants should contact their local Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency outreach office for assistance, or call 615-742-1113, ext. 19 to have an application mailed to you.

Proof of Household monthly income and a copy of your energy bill are required to apply. Failure to provide required documentation can result in the delay or denial of services.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program is funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
