Ms. Thurston was a native of Christiana and was the daughter of the late Horace and Bertha Frizzell Clark. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford county and member of Third Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Miller Cemetery in Christiana. Rev. Steve Hutson will officiate. 

A special thanks to the staff of Northside Healthcare Center for the love and care they have given Ms. Thurston over the past 12 years. Their dedication and compassion is so greatly appreciated.
