Mary Helon Mosley, age 79, of Rockvale, passed away on November 24, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

She was born and raised in Rutherford County and a member of Patterson Baptist Church. Nanny Helon was a homemaker and very active in her church and always there for everyone regardless of the situation. She will truly be missed by all that her life has touched. Her precious memories will be held dear by both young and old.

Helon was preceded in death by her parents, Hughes Lee and Georgia Simpson Johnson Lamb; husband, John W. Mosley; and brother, Leon Lamb. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (James) Cunningham of Rockvale, Peggy (Charles) Harris of Alabama and Cindy Fann of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren, Jamie (Bruce) Lynch, Jay (Tiffany) Cunningham, Kimberly (Justin) Brown, Kerri (Josh) Teague, Keith Fann and Cody Fann; and 11 great-grandchildren, Leigha, Jed, Austin, Dalton, Dylan, Larissa, Kylee, Joshua, Morgan, Jamillia and Jeremiah.

Graveside service for Helon will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Tony Anderson and John Haynes officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
