Mary Frances Graves Maddux, age 94, of the Fellowship Community in Mt. Juliet, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at her home. 

A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Harry Eli Graves and Rosa Lee Graves Coleman. Mrs. Maddux was preceded in death by her husband John Berdyne Maddux; daughter, Betty Ann Maddux; brothers, Eli, Monroe, Ernest L. and Charles Graves; and sisters, Ammie Graves Buckingham Trice and Louise Graves Puryear.

Mrs. Maddux is survived by sons- and daughters-in-law, Harry and Wanda Maddux and George and Marty Maddux, all of Mt. Juliet; daughters, Johnnie Kaye Maddux, of Mt. Juliet, and Frances Faye Maddux Davis, of Smyrna; sister, Marie Graves King of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Maddux, Adam (Genny) Maddux, and Christy Davis Smith; great-grandchildren Jackson Baylin Maddux, Preston Lee Maddux, Cooper Ryan Maddux, and Preslee Leighton Maddux.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Milton Hicks and Rev. Bobby Goode officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
