A robber snatched $60 cash from a man Tuesday when he walked out of Neighborhood Market on North Maney Avenue, Murfreesboro Police reported.

The 24-year-old man suffered a small cut to his left eyebrow when the robber punched him in the face and grabbed the money from his hand, Officer Jason Parker reported.

Witnesses told police the man who was robbed was trying to purchase drugs in the neighborhood earlier, Parker reported.

In an unrelated case, Officer Skye Wortman responded about 6:45 p.m. to Richmond Avenue where Javaris Frierson told her he head multiple gunshots fired outside his home. He saw three black males running toward Winston Place.

Wortman found five .45-caliber shells and five .380-caliber shells in the driveway, front yard and street.

One of the suspects was described as heavy-set wearing a white T-shirt, she reported. No other descriptions were available.
