One robber armed with a handgun grabbed $22 cash from a victim before escaping last Wednesday outside Stone Creek Apartments on Bradyville Pike, Murfreesboro Police reported.

Victim Tomas Rodriquez, 28, of Stone Creek Apartments, was walking from his residence to his car about 2 p.m. when a man approached him carrying a handgun and demanded money, Officer Sean Martin reported.

Rodriquez handed over $22 he had in his wallet, the officer reported.

“Mr. Rodriquez stated that the black male also hit him across the face with his hand,” Martin reported.

He described the robber as a muscular-built black man who was clean-shaven. He spoke a little Spanish.
