Victim Antonio Idelfonso Juarez, 36, of Cypress Drive died instantly in the accident at the 67-1/2 mile marker eastbound between the Sam Ridley Parkway and Almaville Road exits, Deputy Matt Moseley said.

Detective Scott Tillman said the death was ruled an accident.

Also, a Smyrna fire engine parked at the scene was involved in a crash. Tillman said the fire engine probably prevented emergency workers at the scene from getting injured while investigating the death.
