Charges were filed against a man accused of stealing property from a neighbor off Dilton-Mankin Road, a sheriff’s deputy reported.
Daniel Watson, 18, of McArthur Drive was charged with burglary and theft, Deputy Eddy Burns reported.
Watson was accused of stealing a $1,500 Dell laptop computer from victim Steve Jernigan, also of McArthur Drive, the deputy reported.
Deputies were trying to recover other property stolen from Jernigan, including an iPod.
Detective Steve Brown is investigating.
Watson’s hearing is pending in General Sessions Court.
