When are we going to make this crime punishable by death? We see too often that they serve a minimal sentence and then are required to register as an offender but do they really stop or just not get caught? Extenuating cricumstances exist I agree but, a deterent such as the death penalty seems to be 1 answer to slowing it down you would hope.

This type of crime, when a man of his age is found guilty of raping a 6-year old child should be punished by a higher extent of the law. The only thing that will probably happen to this guy is him serving a small sentence and being added to the registry of sex offenders, nothing more. This type of punishment is unacceptable. Doing something as vile as this deserves a steeper punishment. It is a big deal but our judicial system is not treating it as such. That is someone’s baby girl that will never get her innocence back thanks to this monster and will probably develop various psychological issues such as detachment and fear because of this traumatizing experience (http://www.ibiblio.org/rcip/vocabofrape.html) . Does he not deserve more than a slap on the wrist for scarring this little girl for life? Are we as a society able to sleep with him getting off with a simple warning? I hope that this is not the case. If not for this little girl what about for the love of your own family? Why would you want such an offender around your daughter, nieces, & family members in or around your neighborhoods, streets, & homes? It isn’t right, it will never be right, & he deserves a higher sentence then what he is most likely to get.

For all your info. if you dont know Ray you shouldnt be saying anything bad just pray that he is innocent.His ex has alot to do with this.She is a devil in disguise and she needs alot of prayer.

I hate to tell you but i do know him, worked with him for several years not one bit suprised... Look into his past dealings and you would not be suprised either....

I would think that there must strong evidence in order for a Grand Jury to hand down an indictment and set a bond at $1 million dollars.
People who commit crimes like this always try to blame someone else, usually their victims. They never take the responsibility for their actions.
Bigbossman, or anyone else who knows anything that would be helpful in this case should contact the Murfreesboro District Attorney's office.
Those who commit crimes against children should be punished.

"Ray" needs to be hung from one of the trees in my front yard so I could watch and enjoy!! This little girl will be haunted by this the rest of her life.

The scum was found guilty of 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery of a minor under the age of 13, and 1 count of reckless endangerment.
These are class B felonies that carry a sentence of 8-12 years. Sentencing is on Nov. 12 at which time the judge will decide if they will be consecutive or concurrent. the sentence will be 100% time served. He will be on the sexual offender registry as a violent sex offender, not just sex offender. The added "violent" means he has to report in person twice a year.
Good riddence. Big Bubba and the brothas will be waiting on their new b**ch to arrive.
If he's lucky, the scum will find a way to kill himself before he gets to the state pen.
