TMP Reports

Aggravated domestic assault charges were filed against a boyfriend and father accused of ramming a car carrying his girlfriend and baby son Sunday on North Tennessee Boulevard, Murfreesboro Police reported.

Suspect Ryan Pelletier, 24, of 1606 N. Tennessee Blvd. was charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault and leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly ramming the car of live-in girlfriend Nickie Manier and their 1-year-old son, Officer Brandon Brown reported.

Pelletier was apparently angry because Manier left with their son to meet her parents to arrange her grandmother’s funeral, Brown reported. Pelletier followed her to the intersection of North Tennessee Boulevard and Clark Boulevard.

“Mr. Pelletier struck the rear of the vehicle she was driving with his vehicle, placing her in fear,” Brown reported.

Police located Pelletier at Middle Tennessee Boulevard.

“Transporting Officer Tracey Womack advised that Mr. Pelletier stated he did strike the vehicle,” Brown reported.

Pelletier’s hearing is set March 9 in General Sessions Court.
