Police arrived at Middle Tennessee Medical Center Saturday night, June 24, in response to a possible assault.

The victim, James Beard, told police he was at a party on Lismore Street. Beard said when he walked to his car he was approached by three males.

One subject, carrying a baseball bat, allegedly began hitting Beard and calling him a “snitch.” Beard managed to get away from the subjects.

Beard told officers he did not know any of the men that assaulted him.
