Murfreesboro Police received a call from the Harriman Police Department in regards to a wanted subject currently living in Murfreesboro at 1711 Clydeway Drive off of Lakeshore Drive.
Rocky C. Campbell, 29, was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year old girl.
Detective Tommy Roberts learned Campbell was living in what has been labeled as a “halfway house,” according to an arrest report. Detective Roberts and Detective Ray Daniel went to the home in question where they met with Campbell.
One file showed Campbell confessed to detectives that he sent the 14-year old nude pictures of his male anatomy. He also confessed to asking her for sex, along with pictures.
The evidence collected by Murfreesboro Police was presented to the Rutherford County Grand Jury and Campbell was indicted on numerous charges.
Campbell will appear in court on Monday, July 14 where he will face the charges:
Solicitation for aggravated statutory rape, Especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, Sexual exploitation of a minor. Solicitation to sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means Campbell will remain behind bars until his upcoming court date.
