One woman awoke to find her roommate’s boyfriend in her bedroom early Sunday at University Gables on South Rutherford Boulevard, Murfreesboro Police reported.

The 19-year-old girl awoke about 4 a.m. and saw the man, Officer Dave Norton reported.

“She observed a male white standing over her bed staring at her,” Norton reported. “The subject was only wearing boxer shorts.”

He attempted to open a window in her bedroom. She asked who he was and he identified himself as her roommate’s boyfriend. The roommate moved in one week ago. When she asked why he was in her bedroom, he threatened her.

Another roommate led him out of the room, the officer reported. The case is being investigated.
