Malcolm Elliott Hall Jr., 70, died Feb. 1, 2014, at Saint Thomas West Hospital.
He was the owner and operator of College Motors in Murfreesboro for 31 years until his retirement in 2008.
His greatest loves in life included God, family, friends, and cars. He cherished every customer and friendship he made throughout his life. He was a devoted member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church for the past 39 years where he served in various capacities. He was also a member of the Fairfield Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donah Graves Hall, three sons Greg (Cindy) Hall, Jon (Jennifer) Hall, and Clint (Loree) Hall, six grandchildren, Ethan, Erin, Anna, Ainsley, Jon Eric, and Addison Hall, one sister, Kathy (Gordon) Ryan, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm Elliott Hall, Sr. and Mary Louise Hall.
Funeral service will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at 11:00AM with the Rev. Randall Ganues, Dr. Fred Hembree, and Dr. Jim Clardy officiating. Support will also be provided by the clergy staff at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the Ty Cargile Men's Class at St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro on Monday, February 3, 2014, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and before the funeral at the church.
