The Lunch & Learn Educational Group will meet from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 20 at the St. Clair Street Senior Center, 325 St. Clair St., in Murfreesboro.
This program is for caregivers of seniors and seniors. The program will have a panel of four professionals that have unique technology services that are senior friendly. The topic for will be: “Senior Opportunities: Technology, Mobility, Medical Options & Security … Helping Seniors to Stay Active and Connected”.
This program will help seniors and caregivers have a better understanding of services that are available that will help persons to continue to stay active and connected. Speakers for this program are: Lora Martin from Senior Touch, Christian Schreiber from Tennessee Mobility, Sharon Sirrell from @Home Services, and Steve Smith from Medical Necessities, LLC. Please Note: Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m.. This is a Brown Bag Lunch & Learn!
The Program begins at noon. Reservations for the Program are required (seating is limited to 50 persons), and can be made from Oct. 3-14 in person at the Senior Center between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Persons not registered for the program, must wait until 11:55 a.m. to make sure seating is available. This series is presented monthly on the third Thursday with some programs being co-sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association.
Scheduled speakers offer information on various topics of interest and answer questions.
