Louis Howard Cole passed away on Oct. 30, 2009. He was a native of Minor Hill, Tenn., and lived in Rutherford County for the last 30 years. He worked as a Journeyman Ironworker with the Local 492 and was a member for 60 years. He was in the U.S. Navy and served in WWII.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Jewell and Earl Cole, wife of 49 years, Alma Ruth Cole, son, Howard Cole, sister, Johnnie Mae Brown. He is survived by daughter, Rosemary (Bill) Magness of Valdosta, GA, beloved sister, Sonia E. (Jim) Andrews of Madison, TN, nephew, John (JoAnne)Earl Brown Lebanon, TN, Niece, Frances Blanton of TX, niece, Angela Andrews of KY, great nephew, James Wright of KY, Special relatives; Mildred Wheeler and family, Jane Wheeler and Family, Joanne Harwell and family, John Wheeler and Family. Special friends; Hazel Smith and family. Honorable mention to members of Ironworkers Local 492.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Jennings & Ayers.
