LEBANON, Tenn. -- A longtime banker who once worked for Wilson Bank & Trust has rejoined the company as a financial adviser at the Northwest Broad Street location in Murfreesboro, officials announced Monday.
Heidi King recently returned to the Wilson Bank Investment Center after pursuing a career in financial services at Jackson National Life Distributors, where she worked as a business development consultant.
The investment center is a division of Wilson Bank.
King initially worked for Wilson Bank for eight years, starting as a teller before joining the investment department as a licensed financial assistant in the Mount Juliet office. She later transitioned to a financial adviser role at the Hermitage office.
She now serves the entire Rutherford County market, with visits to the Memorial Boulevard and South Church Street locations, as well as the Smyrna branches, by appointment.
“(King’s) clients are her primary focus,” said Barry Buckley, the Southern regional manager of Wilson Bank. “She has a love for finance and a passion to help others accumulate and preserve wealth in their personal lives and business. We’re glad to have her back on our team taking care of our neighbors.”
King, who is a member of Rutherford CABLE and the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, has more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry.
“The best part about my job is building relationships,” King said. “Uncovering what is most important to my clients and coming up with a solution to help them get there is one of the most rewarding experiences I can have professionally. I feel so blessed to work at Wilson Bank and have the ability to impact the lives of our customers.”
King received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a double minor in marketing and management from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn.
