A Murfreesboro woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to have a friend kill her husband.

Sharon Allocco, 57, of 1021 S. Molloy Ln., was arrested April 8 for allegedly asking a friend to kill her husband, Robert Allocco.

The plot came to light after Dania Presley went to the Murfreesboro Police about an Easter weekend conversation with her friend Allocco.

Presley told MPD Det. James Abbott Allocco had approached her about killing her husband. Presley said Allocco suggested she try to induce a heart attack because of Robert Allocco’s poor health.

MPD then had Presley call Allocco several times to discuss the matter. In the taped conversations, Allocco asked Presley how she would killed Robert Allocco.

“Mrs. Allocco advised Ms. Presley to get Mr. Allocco off by himself and strike him in the head,” Abbott reported. “Later in a second call, Ms. Allocco stated that it would have to be something heavy and from behind, referring to striking Mr. Allocco in the head.”

After her arrest, Allocco admitted to discussing the situation with Presley and that she was mad at her husband at the time, but she is no longer mad at him and does not want him dead. She made no attempt to dissuade Presley from killing him.

“During the investigations, we learned that Mrs. Allocco has been corresponding with a subject incarcerated at Tennessee Department of Corrections,” Abbott reported. “A letter found in Mrs. Allocco’s purse indicated that it is a romantic relationship.”

Allocco is being held on a $250,000 bond and will be arraigned May 18.
