Early detection is the best protection against breast cancer.

In order to encourage all women to take proactive steps to care for themselves and preserve their health, StoneCrest Medical Center, along with the TriStar Family of Hospitals, are offering digital screening mammograms at a special rate for the month of October.

The American Cancer Society recommends that women age 40 and older should have a screening mammogram every year and should continue to do so for as long as they are in good health. Depending on the patient’s family history, some women should begin mammograms before age 40.
